PCA vs. HandHeld 48'' vs. Stowed 42''

Wanted to share, might be interesting to someone.

Motivation: Preparing to jump new object, with good Plan A landing, sketchy Plans B-C-D. Urban enviroment - exit point not on corner of the building.

48'' PC is Pitch, 42'' PC is Snatch - jumps from 140-160m objects

Weight 75kg with gear, 245 ft2 Atair Vision canopy

Exit usually downwind, but should not matter for vertical speed end general feeling for canopy time.

Decided to go with PCA first times, and then based on experience go with 48'' no delay. 42'' and longer delay seems just too sketchy.

It is Flysight GPS data. Also on FB someone mentioned the Above Sea Level heights:

*Croatia Jumps - 200m ASL
*Rest - 400m ASL
*planned jump - 150m ASL

42" stowed will be fine from 140m, depending how far your LZ is.. I jump a building often that is 130m and take 2-2.5 delays all the time.
When I jumped the cliff near Split, it was 90m I believe.. I used 42" handheld.

Nothing to do for the question about PC size but have a look at this, because you mentioned "not at corner" and "downwind".
Of course it depends on the windspeed, but might be helpful ...

Of course if you mean a round building, it differs ...

Yeah this building has a real funky design with a "tunnel" in the middle between two buildings. I used to live there so I know already that this is basically no wind jump.

Downwind I meant for the stats, when I jumped this other antenna-like objects. This 90m building jump must be no wind situation.

Yeah for me the problem is that I jump it first time, and try to figure out how to give myself as much of a reserve as possible. Think after PCA/Static line would go handheld with a 48 for go and throw for sure. 42 I see no point if I am not making any delays. Seen on youtube plenty of shit where people go 90m stowed with 2sec delay, but the canopy time is really short for my experience atm.

Update: Went great! Just like planned :)
