unclecharlie95 The 2019 World Wingsuit League has just finished. Over 300 jumps were performed without any course violations. Unfortunately there was one injury due to a hard landing (knee). The results were as follows: Slalom Competition: 1st Place - Chris Byrnes, AUS 2nd Place - Matt Munting, AUS 3rd Place - Yegor Orlov, USA Target Competition: 1st Place - Brandon Mikesell, USA 2nd Place - James Yaru, USA 3rd Place - Jean Jacques Wallis, RSA Event videos: Target - https://www.facebook.com/...os/2101817693459834/ Speed - https://www.facebook.com/...os/1247829458737550/ Just before the event there was a situation where one of the pilots did not follow the rules at a legal BASE site. Unfortunately due to the proximity with the start of the event and the disruption this would cause we were unable to take action. For future events it will be required that all pilots who attend follow the rules at all legal BASE sites and also behave in a way that helps promote sustainable jumping. In the future we will also have standby pilot/s who can step in at the last moment should such a situation arise again. WWL GM James Boole BASEstore.it
