Just wanted to ask ppl from LB or in general - that had his/her dear friend lost in a valley - if anyone experience that a memorial souvenir, reminder that was attached to the Rock would disappear.

Hi

I was contacted by some locals of LB to descuss if we could maybe install some kind of a joint memorial stone at the cementary in Lauterbrunnen for all fallen jumpers.
They are not happy about all the different memorials in the valley, they say (in nice words) that it makes the town look bad if tourist stumble over a memorial every couple of meters...
I will talk to them this fall to try to find a solution which is good for all parties.
