Base-jumping insurance 2014

I just went to re-new my FFCAM (French Alpine Club) insurance and discovered that it does not cover base-jumping anymore. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other company that does cover base-jumping in Europe.

It is interesting because in the french t&c "paralpinism" is listed as a covered activity but in the english one there is nothing about it... Where did you hear or read that it is not covered? Maybe this is worth to check directly from ffcam? Based on my experience with them if you ask whether base jumping is covered they will say "no" automatically as the insurance previously only covered paralpinism (cliff jumping).

Hi Markus,

Yeah- I noticed that too after reading both versions. The English version says specifically Para-alpinism and base-jumping is not covered. And the French version says specifically that para-alpinism is covered.

I guess I will have to send them an email to find out for sure.
