BASE jumping in Scotland, UK

Hi all,

I have just completed my first skydive and I plan on continuing and getting my licence with a view to BASE jumping when I'm confident I have the experience to do so.

Are there any people on here that hail from bonny Scotland and BASE jump anywhere in the country? I would love the chance to come along with you on a jump and help out in some way or just chat about the scene and whats happening in the world of Scottish BASE.

Where did you do it?

There are not many people jumping in Scotland and I know the ones that are won't entertain you right now.

I'd recommend you focus on skydiving for a while. get your jump numbers up and get as much experience as you can with the different disciplines, especially canopy control.

It's sounds old fashioned but it's a sensible approach and having some skydiving experience may go a long way to helping you out one day.

Thanks for the reply, I did my first jump in Hibaldstow - it blew me away and i cant believe I've not done it before! I'm fully focused on getting my licence and a shit load of jumps under my belt. i work 2/2 offshore so have plenty of time to do it.

Obviously I wouldn't jump straight into BASE jumping but I find it so intriguing, it would be fucking awesome to be there when anyone goes on a mission! I'll bide my time though and wait and see what happens.

Are there many places left in scotland that have not been jumped yet? Ahhh so many questions

so am I reading this correctly, is it ukmarkj and jaydoubleyou who both now skydive at hibaldstow ???
I kind of guessed it was you two at the time , but now I think about it I'm absolutely sure.
I want everybody to know what the staff at hibaldstow are teaching their students to do.
As I opened the door and walked into manifest I could not belive my own fucking eyes !!!!!!!! .
There was ukmarkj with his trousers down and standing behind him was jaydoubleyou and a neo nazi skinhead football thug, they were repeatedly slapping his buttock cheecks with paddles wrapped in sandpaper. All of them were masturbating and starring at the safety officer dressed in scubadiving gear who was rimming the chief instructor who in turn was beating him about the head and neck with a riding crop as franticly as a jockey on the last furlong.
The only reason the dropzone owner wasn't involved was because he can't get it up, So he was peeking around the corner bawling his eyes out crying and videoing them...
